The control schematic people have complained about is actually very sound. I have noticed some minor glitches running through the crowds (sometimes people further away appear from seemingly nowhere) but frankly it seems to serve as a subtle reminder that I am in the animus and there is a bigger game being played around me.When I play AAA games, I love to see if I am going to get bored quickly, and in Unity, there is plenty to do. In the first hour of the game, I have bounced off and worked through thousands of citizens, and it doesn't feel too cluttered. I recall in previous versions of the game that the further you progressed, the more people you would have to navigate through. The first thing I noticed was that there are a lot of people, everywhere you go. I wanted to see if it truly plays like a next gen game and it does.very well. And since I have played EVERY iteration of the series, I was looking at Unity from a different perspective.

It appears to be purring along on a GTX 970, but having loaded it up on my prior HD 6950 card for comparison it brought the card to its knees - If you aren't rocking current gen hardware, or planning on turning down the eye candy, I'd recommend you wait to check to see if patching will improve PC optimization.Bottom line: Smoke 'em if you've got 'em. There is some innovation here, but there's also a lot of familiar territory - if you bought an Assassin's Creed game and weren't expecting carry over of familiar gameplay, you bought the wrong game.Note: At the time of this review, the technical requirements to run this game are steep. Plenty of things to keep you busy.Cons: Steep technical requirements at the time of this review. Visually beautiful, definitely a next-gen title here.

Rating at 10/10 to offset some of the nerd rage out there.Pros: Solid controls/gameplay. Rating at 10/10 to offset some of the nerd rage out there.Pros: Solid controls/gameplay.Solid title.
